Pune is home to leading industrial giants such as automobile giants like Telco, Bajaj, Mahindra's and other well known industries such as Kirloskars, Sandvik, Alfa Laval, L&T, Thermax. Pune is also an IT hub housing key players to name a few Infosys, Wipro, GSSL, IIIT, Kanbay etc.,.The Industry Institute Interaction cell greatly benefits from this and tries to exploit all possible opportunities available. Not only the III CELL is entrusted with the duty of interacting with the Industry to increase the employment opportunities of the students and to get projects for staff to increase their "real world" awareness etc. but also arranging for guest lectures by eminent industrialists and technical experts, and collaborations. Some of the highlights are: 1. M.O.U with Oracle under their Work force Development Programme to train our students 2. "Campus connect" status by Infosys 3. Faculty trained under "Mission 10 X "by Wipro and granted certification by Dale Carneige Institute,Cambridge and Wipro Learning Centre. 4. Connected with L&T under" Project Nalanda" 5. Accredited by TCS 6. Granted lab facilities worth 1 crore by Alcatel.
